Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Xogos Audio ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Xogos Audio is a podcast hosting platform designed for educators, students, and content creators. We provide tools for creating, hosting, distributing, and analyzing podcast content.

Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or have parental/school consent)
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
  • Distribute malware, spam, or other harmful content
  • Harass, bully, or threaten other users
  • Upload content that is sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Circumvent our content moderation systems

Content Guidelines

As a platform focused on education, we maintain strict content standards:

  • Content must be appropriate for all ages unless marked otherwise
  • Educational content should be accurate and not misleading
  • Content targeting students must comply with COPPA and FERPA
  • Hate speech, discrimination, and harassment are prohibited
  • All content is subject to AI-assisted moderation review

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a license to:

  • Host and distribute your content through our platform
  • Create transcripts and process content for AI features
  • Display your content in podcast directories you enable
  • Create backup copies for service continuity

You represent that you own or have rights to all content you upload.

Subscription and Payments

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Refunds are provided within 30 days of initial purchase
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Free tier features and limits may change at any time

Connected Accounts

You may connect third-party accounts — such as Google Calendar, YouTube, or a podcast directory — to use features that depend on them. Connecting is optional, and you may disconnect at any time. When you connect an account you authorise us to act on your behalf only as described in our Privacy Policy: creating and updating the calendar events for sessions you schedule here, and uploading the videos you choose to publish. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your content will be removed from our platform
  • RSS feeds will cease to function
  • You may request an export of your data within 30 days

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, XOGOS AUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
